Amii (Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute) is one of Canada's three national AI institutes, headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. It advances AI through foundational research and applied commercialization, working with organizations ranging from startups to global enterprises.

Its AI Pathways: Energizing Canada's Low-Carbon Workforce program—backed by a $10.4 million investment from the Government of Canada's Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program—provides Foundations and Technical tracks specifically for Canadian energy workers such as engineers, technicians, project managers, and research scientists.

Amii supports a community of research fellows and Canada CIFAR AI Chairs, and runs talent development initiatives including the annual Upper Bound AI conference.
